Why don't they put Tui in when its a blow out game?

I think they should, for 2 reasons.

Number one, he needs the experence in the NFL. God forbid something happen again to Gannon, and he goes in, all he's done so far this season is hand off and take a knee twice.

Secondly, why risk an injury to Gannon?

Its nice to watch Tui on the sidelines though, he is just shadows Gannon. Follows him around, soaking it up like a sponge.

Hey Bon, I think that the whole Bill C. philosophy of putting the pedal to the metal is the reason. The Raiders won't let up or give in to the game being 'won' until it actually is. I like this philosophy and I'm sure we'll see plenty of Tui when his time comes. Gannon waited about 12 years for his shot, Tui can wait another one.

Hey Crizpy, I saw your answer over on bayarea too, thanks for all the attention.

I guess I just feel like giving him more experence would be a good thing, in the event something happened to Gannon, you have Tui with almost no game experence, and we remember how that worked before with Hoying.

Also, another post I read made me think about it from a different angle. We are, age-wise, an "experenced" team. Would it be better for the more..um.. experenced (I'm so sick of hearing how old we are) players to get a break later on in the game?

Trust me, as I said before, I love how Callahan keeps the punches coming.. boom boom boom. Why win by 1 TD when you can slam them with 3? I was just trying to look at it from some different angles.

You make a very valid point and as the season goes on I think your 'idea' will be debated more and more. There may be a point when I think your idea would be a good choice.
