What a game!

The Raider Nation out here in SoCal is absolutely euphoric. People are starting to make plans for a battle with Gruden in late January... Let the celebration begin Raider Nation!!!

Just got off the phone with several brothers and sisters of the Raider Nation that crashed Qualcomm stadium, and the overwhelming consensus is that there were just as many, if not more, Raider Nation faithful this year as there were last year. Are you kidding me, after all the ticketing BS, they still couldn't keep the Raider Nation away... What about the aerial shots of Qualcomm late in the fourth- that stadium was still filled to the rafters. Next time we play in Qualcomm, we should get to wear the home jerseys.

The game...where do you start? When we got up 10-0, you could just feel a blow-out was imminent. But then Rice just kept dropping all those passes. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

But then BOOM, that 57 yarder down the seam. The blow-out was on.

Jolley was an absolute stud out there. Everybody's talking about that Giants rookie as the next great TE. Don't think so. Jolley was the only guy that could make a play in the first half. With him in the mix, this Raider offense has the opportunity to go down as one of the best ever- if they can sustain this through January.

Our defense was absolutely on fire today. Do you think Romo still has something left in his tank? Damn, he was everywhere. What about Barton. Move over C-Wood, Barton is the new "cornerstone" of this defense. This guy should be an All-Pro this year, but with the city of Oakland's lack of marketing, he won't even get voted into the Pro Bowl.

Vintage Rod Woodson, this guy is still the best safety in the league. You got to tip your cap to Dorsett too. Even though his mistake led to SD's only touchdown, Dorsett played big against the run. Who would've thought we could shut this team down without our top two CB's. James and Shaw were outstanding.

Coleman was absolutely out of control. He leads the team in sacks with 8.5 and today was the first time all season he got significant playing time. Team's aren't going to be able to overlook him anymore.

Then there's Upshaw. First the good- he was in the backfield on every play and he will only get stronger as the season rolls on. Now the ridiculous- what was up with that Warren Sapp imitation. Hey Regan, if you're going to blind-side an offensive lineman 20 yards away from the play, try not to knock the referee over in the process. Safe to say, the Raiders won't be making room for Upshaw under next year's salary cap.

All in all, a great victory. The Raiders now have the AFC by the balls. All the Raiders need to do is win 2 of their next 3, and the road to the Raider's 2nd home will go through their 1st home.

Here is something to think about. If the Raiders can beat the Dolphins next week and then the Broncos at home in 2 weeks, the Raiders will have clinched home field throughout the playoffs heading into the KC season finale. If you're Al Davis what do you do... Do you play Rich Gannon so that he can break Dan Marino's 5,000 yard passing record against his former team. Or do you back him down for the playoffs and let Tui get some much needed reps against a team that may still be in the playoff hunt. Keep in mind that Gannon would need to play well into the second half of the KC game to break this record... Only something to think about.

Anyways, we still got play them one game at a time. Even though we play against another great running back next week, you got like our chances based on what we did to Tomlinson this week.

Jolley is the real deal, and today he put up the numbers we should be getting out of that position. It looked like The Bolts were keying on Garner a lot and Doug picked up the slack. On the other side, Coleman was awesome, as was the rest of the D. If we play like this every week, we will be back @ the Q in January. The opening KO return by Knight gave us a big boost right off the bat and we rode that momentum for most of the game....Bring on the Fins !

Great post SoCal! Great game, our guys stepped up again and played a very solid game, I was most impressed with our D. If we are Superbowl bound, I'll be on the 1st plane out of NJ! Are there any plans in the making for a superbowl tailgate?

I love the fact that they implemented a new ticket policy to keep us out only to have, if not more Raider fans at our 2nd home, the "Q"!

If we end up the top seed, that will give us a bye week. That will give our guys a much needed break. I think they'll let Gannon stay in the upcoming games, especially if he's close to the record, which he should be.

My biggest concern is the status of C.Woodson, when will he be back?

How fast will hotels fill up though? We won't know until (forgive me, the dates are not engraved in my memory) 2 weeks (?) before the SB if we're going or not. Will hotels be filled to the max?
Sounds awesome to me. Where we will hang out during the game? Talk about a Super Bowl party!
