[b:61e9dfd733]Thanks to Raiders & KGO, Monday Night's Game to Air Locally[/b:61e9dfd733]
December 1, 2002
The Raiders vs. Jets Monday night matchup will air locally.
The Oakland Raiders and KGO Television Channel 7 have partnered into a relationship to allow that this Monday night's game pitting the Silver and Black against the New York Jets will be shown locally.
The game will air in the Bay Area at 6 p.m. on KGO Channel 7 (as well as on KXTV Channel 10 in Sacramento) despite the lack of assistance and effort by the city of Oakland and Alameda County, which are charged with the marketing and sale of Raiders tickets.
"It's inconceivable that this game would not have sold out by now," said Raiders Senior Assistant Bruce Allen. "Nonetheless, we are thankful to KGO for their generosity, support and commitment to our fans and the entire Northern California television market."
Tickets are still available for Monday's game, at the Coliseum Box Office and at tickets.com.
