Even though Rod only gave us one major season, he needs to be up there. He solidified a position that for years was a wasteland and it helped stabilize a back end of the secondary that featured bad play for years.

He made the pro-bowl, and R.Woodson was a huge playmaker, propelling us to the Super Bowl, especially with one of the biggest plays, if not the biggest in the reg. season vs. the Broncos. His INT for a TD turn the tables around early in that game as the Donks drived on us, and it was huge on the road.

Atkinson, Tatum are definites on the list...

Lott was a stand-out in his short time here, and is one of thee greatest defensive players in NFL history.

E.Anderson was one of my favs., gave us many, many quality top notch years, and then when he left, thats when the play at Safety declined significantly.

E.Turner wasnt here long enough to leave an impact he couldve had, but after that....

the likes of M.Pope, the horrid signins of A.Dorsett off one Super Bowl start, P.Bates and drafting him, D.Gibson and his struggles etc. just hindered us.
