Peek is taller, so he probably can keep blockers off his body to keep his size from being taken advantage of, may help him string plays out in pursuit. Think he goes before cain, but Cain's size very much Nap harris, speed rush end with good movement that maybe we can put at OLB on strongside, let him learn it from Romo and take it over full time in 2 years... he would be size mismatch at lb and speed mismatch at end...
We had so many different personnell play last year it was difficult to use them all the time, but once we got a feel for player's strentghs we used them when and where they would most effective. Gruden had it scouted well, so he knew what formations we would use those players and how to mismatch them, even though those players were used less frequently when he was Raiders coach.
Hopefully our players have taken what they do well, improved on thoser skills (such as Travian's pass rushing or Rod Coleman's speed rush) to outweigh their weaknesses (cover ability on direction changes or position size vs point blocks) so they get more reps. Perhap CHucky will be more confident to call their numbers as well and these players have improved enough to earn time outright.
Regardless I think our personnel has something for every fan, Romo's smarts and Hustle Papa Woodspn too. Bart's and Nap's overall pro bowl caliber play, size powergrunts in trench with our DT depth in Parrella and Dana, young up and comers like the Colemans, speed finesse like Buch Baby, player who seem to be out of position like RC but their efforts demand play time, and players who love of the game and experience is a team wealth on and off the field like Trace .
The mojo we are missing is a 100% Charles Woodson, if he comes back full strength then we can take it to anyone. If Charles doesnt return to shutdown status then we try and outscore teams every game again, until our younger db step up and give us coverage by commitee.
