Trufant won't go much lower than Newman. He's nasty. I'd love to get a guy like him, but it won't happen. I think the Raiders have lots of options with their picks, but they have to be right. They could go defense, offense, or both and it could work out perfectly. They could go pretty much any position on the football field and it could work out. The question is can they get the right guy(s)? After last season, yeah, I think they definitely can. Besides, FA signings are done and before you know it we could have Wheatley, Ritchie and Collins back plus sign Hugh Douglass and Rodney Harrison. That would totally change draft priorities.
