Raiderfans.net began in 2002 after the owner/administrator
couldn’t find an Oakland Raider discussion board that met
his needs. What began as a single forum discussion board has grown
into a multi-faceted, multimedia site officially recognized by
the Oakland Raiders. With over 3400 members, we are the largest
Oakland Raider discussion board, with 14 staff members, including
writers and photographers. Whether you are a Raider fan searching
for the latest news, or a fan from the good old days wishing to
discuss the greatness of the Raiders, Raiderfans.net is the site
for you!
Raiderfans.net has been used as a source in
major publications, is featured during the season on the Pro Football
Talk radio show, and has been granted press access to bring Raider
news to you in a unique format – by Raider fans, for Raider
fans. We also provide in-depth coverage and analysis of the NFL
draft.
We welcome you to join and participate in the discussion. The
Raider Discussion is dedicated to discussion of our favorite team
only. A fan of another team? We’re sorry to hear that, but
we invite you to join in, especially on the “Misc. NFL Discussion”
board, or the “Smack Talk” forum. Join in the general
chit-chat on the Everything Else, or find a booster club near
you.
We aim to provide everything a fan could need. Have an idea for
the site? Post in the “Comments and Suggestions” forum,
or just let us know what you think of the site!
Once again, we welcome you to Raiderfans.net.
Have fun!

Name: Bob Carr, "BK"
Occupation: Web Developer
Earliest Raider Memory: It was 1982 and my father
and I were watching the Raiders and the Chargers on MNF. At one
point, the Chargers were beating the Raiders 24-0. With a few
minutes left in the first half, the Raiders scored their first
points in the game. At the half, the Raiders trailed 24-7. As
my father told me 'It is a school night; time to get some sleep",
I ignored what he said and stayed up to watch the game. I had
faith they would come back and make it a game. Well the Raiders
came back and won the game 28-24. I was 8 years old at the time
and remember running into my parents bedroom screaming and ranting
how the Raiders won the game. I've been bleeding the Silver and
Black ever since! That game is #8 on the Raiders All-Time greatest
games list: http://www.raiders.com/history/gm8.jsp
Fondest Raider Memory: Superbowl XVIII
